Yeah, as might be guessed from the title, it's more School Days talk now. Ahh, I'm kinda in love with the show now. It jumped up on my favorite shows list, and is ranked kinda high there. Not above still Chibi Vampire, nonono, but definitely higher than Higurashi no naku koro ni.. I like Higurashi too, but well.. The story isn't as interesting and 'mentally breaking' as SD's is. And the anatomies in Higurashi.. :'D But ahh, I still love Rena.
Anyway, I have finished reading the manga and have to say.. The differences between the anime and manga are HUGE. O__o I wonder if it's so in the game too..

Because, the character's are a bit different in manga and anime.. So it changes the ending's effect big time. I don't actually like the fact that the manga is just two volumes, since the story goes so fast in it and it could've been better if the manga would've lasted longer.

So I am going to rant about the show now.. You can stop reading, if you still are, I know anyway that not many reads these. That test I made couple journals back proved it. :/

YEAH! So..
In the anime, the tragedy develops slowly, and there is much of it because Makoto started to be such a manwhore, and couldn't decide who to like in the end and didn't take responsibility. But in the manga, it just bursts out after one kiss. O_O So yeah, wow, massive difference in characters.. I'm gonna give out some of my thought on the three main characters, first anime and then manga.

In the anime,
Makoto stars off as being the simple, little perverted but still loveable dude, who is in love with a girl he has never even spoken to. Then he gets the girl, but realizes after time that he was fallen for his bestfriend too.. So far so good, does happen in lot of other animes too! (the guys always have a wide selection of who to pick, don't they?) But then Makoto starts turning into the asshole he later became.. He never broke up with Katsura, yet he started dating Sekai, he just avoided Katsura's presence, making the girl feel miserable because of that.. He never gave any hints of not wanting to be with her, he just made up excuses why he couldn't be with her. So, yeah, poor Katsura.. Matoko told Sekai that he was in love with her, and so on.. But still, when a new girl came to confess to him, he was all like "wow, she is pretty cute.." and later on had sex with her! Seriously...... What the fuck? Then he never broke up with Sekai either, he just started having casual sex with other girls from their school.
Asshole.
Then he found out that Sekai was pregnant.. And after a while seemed like he was taking responsibility of that, BUT while she was making a lovely dinner to them, he went out and immediately started calling other girls! And as he found that now crazed up Katsura, he went with her. Maybe because he was actually worried about her? That is possible.. So he took her to his place, and of course Sekai wasn't much pleased to find the two of them there.. Katsura was obviously crazy at that point, so they should've called the ambulance or something, but nooooooooo... Few words from her, and Makoto went for her again right in front of Sekai's eyes! ASDASDASDASDAADSDSDADSD....
And then later on texted to poor Sekai, that he wanted her to get an abortion?? And then just went to her house to ask how did that go...
So general thoughts of Makoto after the anime are; JEEEEEZ, is there a more hateable character in any school romances?!? He did totally deserve what was coming to him..

In the manga,
Makoto starts off from the same basics as in the anime. He likes Katsura a lot, but when starting to date her, he finds out that Sekai likes him.. First he is all like "this is wrong" and all, but he can't stop thinking about her. So, when they start kissing a bit more, Makoto still thinks it's wrong but he can't help himself. He feels guilty, and he doesn't start to see other girls nor avoid Katsura that much. He is just more tense around her. So yeah, not manwhore, not being asshole and feeling guilty of his feelings. Just a dude who has hard time choosing, eh? And when Katsura goes crazy, and doesn't come to school, he tries to go se her, although he should've gone see her alone and not with Sekai.. But still, it was an effort on his behalf! And when Katsura came, and tried to kill Sekai, he jumped in between them and took the blow! Something that he would've never done in the anime.. And in the hospital, as Kokoro called to tell that Katsura was bleeding, he was worried. He was worried about a girl who almost killed him. AND, he thought the whole thing was his fault(which it was), and didn't blame Katsura for any of it! He wanted to make it up to her and all. And so, Sekai killed her and Makoto ended yup being screwed and feeling guilty for the rest of his life.
General thoughts of Makoto after the manga are; He should've chosen either one, and been honest with it as quickly as possible.. Poor guy.


In the anime,
Sekai starts off cheerful, tough, honest and little boyish character. She seems to just want to stick her nose into other people's business.. She seems to be a wonderful friend, since she made friends with Katsura who wasn't very popular, and then brought her and Makoto together. But as those two start dating, she starts to feel left out and sad because of that.. Understandable. But then, she starts to put the moves on to Makoto, and later on is revealed that Sekai likes Makoto from the start... So yeah, what the fuck? If she liked him, why did she go through so much trouble of making Makoto date someone else? And when she and Makoto start dating, she doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact that Makoto never broke up with Katsura. She knows the situation and that Makoto is avoiding her, but still she does not do anything to it. When Sekai sees Makoto cheating her, she gets angry but doesn't do much else because she doesn't want to be abandoned like Katsura. Then she finds out she is pregnant, though I still wonder if she just faked it? Yeah, she did puke and all, but people can puke for other reasons too. And Katsura stated that "there is no one inside of you" when she.. umm, checked it. But of course, the infant could've been so small at the time that Katsura just didn't see it.. Still I rather think that Sekai was lying, since it fits her pretty well.
So she thought she'd get Makoto for sure then, and she was all happy about a family, but then she had to face the fact that Makoto was still being the asshole. No wonder she went crazy when seeing him make out with Katsura, and then having that text message...
General thoughts of Sekai after the anime are; She brought it all on herself, was she a dramaqueen or something?

In the manga,
Sekai starts off the same as in the anime. But the difference is that she wasn't in love with Makoto from the start, she just developed the feelings later on. That could happen, and it's not that bad eh? And Sekai didn't ask Makoto to date her even though he was with Katsura, like she did in the anime. In manga she just stated that she wanted to be close to Makoto, because she cared of him that deeply. Is that so wrong?
Well, it starts being very wrong after they start making out with Makoto.. But when Katsura stopped coming to school, she was worried about her too. She didn't just go ahead and enjoy her time while Katsura was suffering somewhere else. Then something just snapped in her head as Katsura accidentally hit Makoto, and she went and killed Katsura. Well, that doesn't make much sense, does it? Sekai was pretty much normal before that, and then she just goes straight to killing, and thinks that now she can make Makoto happy.
General thoughts of Sekai after the manga are; Odd, odd girl.. She just went bersek, poor, poor Makoto..

In the anime,
Katsura starts off as being really shy and kind, and no one seems to like her. She is very happy to have Sekai to be her friend, and is thrilled when Makoto confesses to her and they start dating. She is shy about their relationship, but very happy to spend time with him. Still, she cares for Sekai's feelings too. Just a cute, awesome girl.
She even made a sweater for Makoto, only to find him smooching with Sekai on the roof.. She was clearly devostated of the fact, but hid it pretty well. Katsura believed when Matoko lied to her about not being able to see her.. And then she started to get bashed by the other girls, because they thought she was trying to steal Sekai's boyfriend. What the fuck?? Didn't anyone know that Makoto was dating her first?? And then Taisuke developed feelings for Katsura, and showed them since he thought Makoto and Katsura had broken up. Of course that made the other girls even more mad at her! Still, even though Katsura knew that Makoto was cheating on her with many other girls, she never was unfaithful. She told that to Taisuke too.
Then she had to face Makoto about them, and yeah she completely cracked.. Started talking to cellphone that was off, and all. She just couldn't get over it, she was so hung up on Makoto and couldn't deal with being bashed so much. It was a complete coincidence that she happened to run into Makoto that night he was looking for girl company, and of course her hopes went higher again, and.. she was kinda off of everything. Then when seeing Sekai, she was confident and just went with what she felt like and got Makoto to herself. So she became happy. If she hadn't completely lost her mind already, that sure happened as she found Makoto's dead body. So she clearly guessed who was the murderer, and wanted revenge on her but.. how the fuck did she get the idea to chop off his head and take it with her?? That is rather.. odd. She told Sekai to see it too, which must've been to disturb her even more.. And then she just went ahead and killed Sekai, getting her comfirmation of her being the killer as she tried to pull out that knife to defend herself. Then Katsura just opened the girl up, which I'm still wondering of where did she do that? Did she open up the stomach or pussy?? Since, as the camera is shown from there when she is looking down at her work.. It is rather shaped like pussy, and seems to be a kind of small hole too... BUT, it makes more sense to open the stomach since she'd see a lot better then.. BUUUUUUUUUUT, who knows. AND, she didn't stop to that but went out to boat cruise with the severed head. O____O' ..where the hell did she get that idea from?
General thoughts of Katsura after the anime are; Awww, poor her.. I can completely understand her going crazy because of what was done to her. Though it's a bit sick to go on a boat cruise with a severed head.. Still, sympathies go to her.

In the manga,
Katsura too starts off pretty much the same as in the anime. Shy, but happy to get a new friend and a boyfriend. Since she has been picked on in her past, she soon falls depended on Makoto. She is a bit jealous of Makoto and Sekai being so close from the start, but she doesn't think of it that much since Sekai was the one that brought her and Makoto together. She was just overjoyed when Makoto gave her that necklace, and it became very important to her. When it dropped in the sewer, she just stuck her hand in there and fished it out. So that is how important Makoto and everything from Makoto was to Katsura.. She gave her all to him, hurrying herself into holding hands and kissing just for him. Then Katsura found Matoko there kissing Sekai, and she just collapsed. Everything came down on her, she had trusted Matoko so much and cared for him so deeply. Still, she rather accused Sekai to be the bad one there.. So Katsura stayed home from school, and it seems that the fact that Makoto and Sekai tried to come see her together, only made things worse. So when she got back to school, she had already decided that she wanted to kill Sekai. Bit harsh first decision, isn't it? But Katsura hadn't counted on Makoto to protect her, so she hit him and was horrified of what she had done. Again she stayed at home, only to get herself killed by Sekai... And all she wanted was Makoto.
General thoughts of Katsura after the manga are; Well, umm.. Easily broken down much? It's understandable though, since the only two persons she trusted both betrayed her, but she shouldn't have gone to attempt murder as the first option!



So, in the anime.. Makoto and Sekai are pretty much the bad guys, and Katsura is the victim that was simply driven too far off the edge. And in the manga, Sekai and Katsura are both very easily crazed up, and Makoto is the victim.
Pretty big diffrence I think.
Because in the anime it shows what could happen from too much cheating, and hurting. But in the manga, the girls are just.. mentally ill.
I personally like the anime better, since it has such a big effect and oh the drama and everyhting!

I'm not gonna stop this rant yet, I'll continue with little bit talk of the games few ending, all the bad ones and couple of the good ones, even though there are like.. 18 good endings? And in the PS2 version I have understood, that there are more bad endings than in the PC game. Hope I can see them too one day, I'd like to play both of those games! Just to see what ending would I naturally get out of them.. But I don't know where I could buy that PS2 game, and PC game I can't get before I get a new computer! My old one is so piled up and slow, that it would pop if it were to have a game in it..
So, I've been checking out the games endings online, but only seen a couple of the good ones. They are really hard to find, but there are plenty vids from the bad endings! :'D

So, good ones first..

Tsuma desu / I'm the Wife
Setsuna and Makoto? O__o No way.. I don't like that endings idea at all.. ...nothing more to say about that actually.

Futari no koibito / Two lovers
I think this is ver odd, and a bit disturbing too.. Since Katsura and Sekai are both so happy to be with Makoto, and to share him without any signs of rivalry... So, yeah.. Lucky Makoto!

Then to the bad ones..

Senketsu no Ketsumatsu / Bloody conclusion
First of all.. The love making of Matoko and Sekai sounded very, very freaky.. And again, poor poor Katsura.. I wonder how many things have happened before this ending and how? At least she has been picked on a lot at school, since there was stuff written on her locker and offensive pictures drawn on her desk.. She is pretty out of her mind since she just came there to kill Sekai in the day light, while everyone was watching.. The style was pretty simple and clean, even though there were so much blood, she still killed Sekai with one clean cut and didn't hack her to bits like I would've tought. It was pretty classic, since Sekai didn't notice anything at first and then her scarf just opened, then neck and then she just bursted out blood and collapsed. Very classic, this can be seen in many movies so.. Nahh.. Katsura's laugh was rather odd, but she was clearly insane.. But hey, what the fuck is up with Makoto in this ending?!? He just stand there was Katsura makes tha cut, and when Sekai bleeds and falls, he continues to stand and is just like "Sekai.. " and then he just stares at Katsura, looking like he could go fuck her right away now that Sekai is not there anymore... Pretty odd ending.


Wagako e / To my children
How is this a bad ending? >D Makoto gets stabbed, and what he deserved! Though I have to be little bit confused of the fact, that Sekai really waited for six months to kill him.. It's a bit odd, isn't it? She should've just killed him right away... Yay, dead Makoto!

Eien ni / Eternally
My favorite from these PC-game's bad endings. It is just so tragic, and could actually happen to anyone. I like it that Makoto actually comes clean and confronts Katsura about the fact that he likes Sekai and not her. But it's a bit too much for Katsura to handle.. It's kinda sad to see her begging for him to date her.. But at least, those two are honest to Katsura! So Katsura must've been mentally ill for a long time, maybe because she has been picked on so much in school and all? So, those two just leave and Sekai is still worried about Katsura, and for a good reason.. They both look at the broken cellphone on the ground, like "huh o.O" and I think it'd odd that they don't figure what's coming down next.. So yeah, Katsura drops straight down and woooow... I just love how it slowed down as her head was just inches from the ground, really a dramatic touch to it, then shows her broken down face as she weakly smiles before hitting the ground. AND SPLOSH! A lot of blood everywhere. Just gorgeous in a tragic way. I think they shoul've played Kanashimi No Mukoe in this as well, 'cos it would've made it even better! Poor, poor Katsura..



And.. what else... Oh yeah, I took "What School Days character are you?" -test in Facebook, and guess who I got.. Well, Makoto! :'D I guess I'm a big asshole too, eh?
Currently I'm thinking of pulling up School Days-cosplay too, before I loose my excitement towards it! So if I get to go to Helsinki's Bookfair, which is held at the end of this month, then I'll be as SD-cosplay there! And definitely gonna be bloody too. Maybe dead Makoto, eh? Or maybe I'll be Katsura even! But definitely not Sekai... Either Makoto or Katsura.
For Makoto, I'd have the wig and the suit, and the collarshit, and the tie, and the shoes! :'D So yeah, I'd have everything ready for him, would just need to get some blood and through it on myself and then play dead! Butbut.. I have never done a girl -cosplay before, and if I were to do this one, I'd get to be bloody, insane and carry a saw or a knife! *.* So pretty much a dream. Butbut, the outfit.... Got nothing against boobiebouncing, but the skirt.. Hmm, it might be a big problem. I don't think I could be able to do it so it would look good, and well it's really short skirt on top of that, and I don't wanna show one thing while I'm prancing around in miniskirt. >'D
The wig might be a bit of problem too, but could handle that by little styling! But the biggest problem is money, could I affort to go to the bookfair and make a new outfit there? And on top of that, that outfit should be ready in a week. Since I'm now caught on doing Tsukicon's cosplays, and Tsukicon is 17.-18. and the bookfair is 24.-25.
So yeah, a little bit of time there would be to make that costume! Well, we'll see about that after Tsukicon.. If I have the money, I'll think about it then.

Ah, one more thing!
I don't have a camera anymore! T___T The one I have been using until now broke and then got stolen, so I can't take it to be repaired.. Dunno what I'm gonna do, since I really can't buy a new one.
